West LA Developers Are Still Betting Big on Multifamily

If developers were concerned about West Los Angeles, projects like this would not be moving forward.

A new mixed-use development with 92 apartments and ground-floor retail is nearing completion on Westwood Boulevard, adding much-needed housing in one of Los Angeles’ most supply-constrained neighborhoods.

According to Oron Maher, developers do not invest years of time and capital into projects like this unless they believe in the market’s long-term strength.

In real estate, confidence is measured by where capital gets deployed.

Despite the challenges facing Los Angeles, continued development in West LA is a signal that investors still see long-term opportunity in the market.
